The Ram 2500 has the exterior look, interior cabin style, powerful engines, towing capabilities, and a choice in cargo area size to fit every driving or hauling need. <br/><br/> Choose from two-wheel-drive (4x2) and four-wheel-drive (4x4) and one of three cabin styles: Regular Cab, Crew Cab, or Mega Cab with an 8-foot box or 6-foot-4-inch box from among the rugged-road-ready Tradesman, SLT, Big Horn, Laramie, Laramie Longhorn, Power Wagon, and Limited. <br/><br/> Available exterior enhancements include 17-inch x 8-inch aluminum wheels with black matte pockets, 18-inch x 8-inch polished aluminum or steel wheels, and an optional 20,000-pound direct-mount fifth-wheel hitch. <br/><br/> The 2500 also is available with chrome tubular side steps, tri-fold tonneau cover, LED bed lighting, fog lamps, tow hooks, remote keyless power door locks, two one-touch power windows, heated mirrors, and clearance lamps. <br/><br/> Instrumentation includes a compass, trip computer, external temperature display, clock, and tachometer.
Engine (Power)
Engine choices offer plenty of engine power a 160-amp or 220-amp alternator combined with the standard 5.7-liter V-8 Hemi VVT with 383 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque. Optional engine choices include the 5.7-liter V-8 Hemi CNG and 6.4-liter Heavy Duty V-8 Hemi with MDS (Multi-Displacement System). <br/><br/> The Ram 2500 is also available with a 6.7-liter I6 Cummins Turbo Diesel engine that pumps out 350 horsepower or 370 horsepower, and torque of 660 pound-feet or 800 pound-feet.
Performance
Engine performance is enhanced with the standard heavy-duty engine cooling system and a next generation engine controller. Select standard anti-lock four-wheel disc brakes or optional diesel exhaust brakes. <br/><br/> The 2500 also features a front and rear stabilizer bar, conventional front and rear axle, a 3.73 axle ratio, 730-amp maintenance free battery, and electronically controlled throttle enhance the quality of driving.
Interior
