If you’re interested, continue reading along to know more about these amazing vehicles! Jeep Gladiator for Unique Capability The Jeep Gladiator is a new Jeep truck for sale that can give you an experience like no other, as well as the strength to tow or haul your toys wherever adventure awaits. This vehicle is an open-air pickup truck that has been engineered from the ground up to produce unmatched performance. Even better, it’s powered by a 3.6L V6 that produces 285 horsepower and 260 pounds of torque through a standard six-speed manual transmission or an optional eight-speed automatic! Jeep Cherokee for Off-Roading Adventures The Jeep Cherokee is a new Jeep SUV for sale that may be small, but it’s mighty! No matter what trim you pick, each one offers a comfy ride and great visibility. Also, there are five trim levels to choose from! So, the chances of you finding one that matches your personality and lifestyle are high! And if you’re looking for some serious off-roading capabilities, the Trailhawk trim is a great choice! It offers a raised suspension, a special four-wheel-drive system, and all-terrain tires that can take on even the toughest trails! Jeep Compass for Updates You’ll Appreciate This Jeep is smaller than a Jeep Cherokee, but don't be fooled because it still stands out compared to its rivals, like the Hyundai Tucson and Chevrolet Trailblazer! The Jeep Compass has above-average off-road capabilities, and this year's version gets many updates, such as: New exterior design and refined interior A revised infotainment system More standard advanced driver aids A larger central touchscreen Plus more! Jeep Grand Cherokee for Hybrid Add On For 2022, the Jeep Grand Cherokee has been fully redesigned! You still have access to the V6 and V8 powertrains, but now there’s a new plug-in hybrid system Jeep calls the 4xe. With a full charge, this hybrid battery can drive an estimated 20-25 miles before the gasoline four-cylinder engine switches on. Even better, the 4xe produces a maximum of 375 horsepower, which beats the Grand Cherokee’s robust V8 engine! Also, even with long trips on the road, you’ll still feel comfortable whether you’re driving or sitting as a passenger. And you won’t be taken by surprise going over big bumps because the optional air suspension creates a well-cushioned ride. Jeep Grand Cherokee WK for Continuation The Jeep Grand Cherokee WK is a continuation of the last-generation Grand Cherokee. With this model, you’ll be able to choose between three different trims that offer plenty of space for passengers and cargo. Additionally, rear-wheel drive is standard, and four-wheel drive is available across all trim levels. Grey Jeep Grand Cherokee L

The Off-Roading Capabilities of the Grand Cherokee L

The Jeep brand is synonymous with off-roading prowess. That reputation is upheld by the newest and biggest SUV in its lineup, the Jeep Grand Cherokee L. The Grand Cherokee L is the first three-row variant of the Jeep Grand Cherokee, but that extra size only adds to the fun when you take it off the beaten path. Let’s take a look at all the off-roading capabilities of the Jeep Grand Cherokee L. All the Hardware to Handle the Mud When equipped with the available Off-Road Group, the Jeep Grand Cherokee L tracks through mud, over rocks, and across the water with ease. The Jeep Quadra-Lift® Suspension System can ford up to 24 inches of water and provides a best-in-class available ground clearance of 10.9 inches to crawl over rocks of basically any size. Couple that with a 30.1-degree approach, 22.6-degree break over, and 23.6 departure angles in the Overland trim with air suspension, and there’s nothing you can’t handle. Powerful Off-Roading Engine and All-Wheel Drive Options You have two familiar engines to choose from to power your Jeep Grand Cherokee L: the 3.6L Pentastar V6, pulling 293 hp and 260 lb-ft. of torque, and the 5.7L Hemi V8, which pumps out 357 hp and 390 lb-ft. of torque. Both of which are mated to the TorqueFlite 8HP70 8-speed automatic transmission. Either engine gives plenty of get-up-and-go for traversing the trails and roaring ahead from a stop in traffic, so you’ve only got to decide whether you want a Hemi or not. There are several All-Wheel-Drive options to choose from, too: the standard Quadra-Trac I can automatically switch between two- and four-wheel drive for efficiency, or the Quadra-Drive II 4WD system with the electronic limited-slip differential rear axle, part of the Off-Road Group package, provides excellent grip over rocks, mud, and slippery surfaces. Plenty of Comfort Inside, Too Just because this Jeep is rugged and powerful doesn’t mean it can’t be refined as well. Inside, the Jeep Grand Cherokee L is quiet and smooth, with comfortable and spacious seating for up to seven. An available 19-speaker McIntosh sound system and 10.1-inch infotainment touchscreen provide the mood music for every drive, and available multicolor ambient LED lighting provides sophistication. When you have a lot of gear, fold down the second and third rows for 84.6 cubic feet of cargo space. And of course, the Grand Cherokee L includes the most available safety and security features in its class, so you can rest assured that you’ll get to your destination. The Off-Road Ready Jeep Grand Cherokee L, for Sale near Annapolis If you’re looking for a three-row SUV that’s just as comfortable on the trail as in the carpool line, look no further than the Jeep Grand Cherokee L available here at Prince Frederick Chrysler Jeep Dodge. Grand Cherokee L vs. Grand Cherokee

The next time you're looking for a new or used Jeep SUV for sale, you might be intrigued by the all-new 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L, which is now in new Jeep lots across the country. The Grand Cherokee L is the next iteration of the legendary Jeep Grand Cherokee, and it comes with a lot of great new features to check out. In this blog, we'll compare the two models to help you decide which is best for your needs. Exterior Size & Performance The most obvious difference between these two Jeeps is their size: the Grand Cherokee L is about 15 inches longer than the Grand Cherokee, which translates into an extra 16 cubic feet of cargo space when all the seats are folded down. Speaking of seats, the Grand Cherokee L features three rows of seating for up to seven, with comfortable seating for adults even in the way back. As far as performance goes, these two vehicles are fairly similar in their power outputs. Each features a 3.6L V6 engine producing around 290 horsepower and 260 lb-ft. of torque, and they each can tow up to 7,200 pounds of weight. Whichever Jeep you choose, you'll be getting a real workhorse that can tow your toys to the campsite as well as hop ahead of traffic on the highway. Interior Space & Comfort As mentioned above, a big new feature on the new Jeep Grand Cherokee L is a third row, which brings its passenger space up to seven. If you're hauling more stuff than people, the L also has more maximum cargo space, at 84.6 cubic feet, versus the Grand Cherokee's 68.3 cubic feet of space. Both SUVs are comfortable rides, especially in higher trims. You can get luxury features such as massaging front seats, quilted leather upholstery, and wood trim if you really want a luxurious ride in these vehicles. Technology Since the Jeep Grand Cherokee L is the newer vehicle of the two, Jeep really pulled out all the stops when designing its tech features, which include automatic emergency braking, a 10.1-inch infotainment system with integrated smartphone connectivity, and more. The Grand Cherokee, in contrast, starts with just a 5-inch screen for tuning the radio and figuring out where to go. All New Jeep Grand Cherokee L Features

If you love the Jeep Grand Cherokee, but want more features, more seating, and more plain fun, you should try the all-new Jeep Grand Cherokee L, now available at Prince Frederick Chrysler Jeep Dodge! Jeep listened to their customers' requests for a 3-row Grand Cherokee with a more modern design and more driver-assistive technology, and the result is the newly-designed Grand Cherokee L. Top-of-the Line Engine, Transmission, and Performance Similar to its smaller sibling, the Jeep Grand Cherokee L has two available engines, a 290-hp V6 or a 357-hp V8, both of which have an 8-speed automatic transmission and a choice between rear- and all-wheel drive. If you're planning on towing a trailer or camper, spring for the V8 – it can tow up to 7,200 pounds, versus the V6's 6,200-lb rating. Even though this is a bigger Jeep than the Grand Cherokee, it's just as capable when running off-road. The available Selec-Terrain® Traction Management System features five modes to choose from, Auto, Sport, Rock, Snow, and Mud/Sand, so you can confidently navigate any geography with the toggle of a switch. All that rugged capability is matched with a smooth-as-silk ride, thanks to Jeep's Quadra-Lift® Air Suspension with electronic adaptive damping, which automatically lowers the vehicle on the highway for greater aerodynamics and raises it to up to 10.9 inches of clearance when you need to clear rocky terrain or deep snow. Feel at Home on Any Road With a Comfortable Interior With the innovative design, exceptional craftsmanship, and elevated materials of the Jeep Grand Cherokee L, you won't be able to wait for the next time you get to drive it. And with enough room for seven passengers, you'll be able to volunteer for more carpools, take more weekend trips, and simply do more than ever before. The luxury only starts there – in fact, the Grand Cherokee L's Summit trim was named the Most Luxurious Vehicle in its class. Add sophistication to every journey with available multicolor Ambient LED Lighting, and sit back and enjoy the adventure with available front massage seating with 16-way adjustability. With a grand total of 84.6 cubic feet of space behind the first row, you can take whatever you need with you on every trip. And if you think you'll want more storage than seating, you can configure the Grand Cherokee L for six or seven passengers, with a center console or not. Thoughtful Technological Appointments No matter who's driving your Grand Cherokee L, they can customize their driving experience to make sense to them. What is the Jeep Wave?

Jeep owners are known for being pretty passionate about their vehicles, to the point that they’ve built up a bit of a culture around driving and owning Jeep SUVs. If you’re a member of this diverse group, or if you know someone who is, you’ve probably heard of a phenomenon known as the “Jeep Wave.” In case you don’t know, the Jeep Wave is a little gesture of solidarity to give to other Jeep drivers on the road—a wave of two to four fingers off the steering wheel as you pass your Jeep compatriot. While the precise origins of the Jeep Wave are murky, the common wisdom places its birth after the second World War, between soldiers who’d driven Jeeps overseas, and loved them so much they brought them home to drive in the U.S. Back then, they figured that whoever they saw driving a Jeep was a fellow soldier, so the wave started as a nod to that shared history. Time passed, and more people bought into the Jeep lifestyle, bringing the Jeep Wave with them. And now, the Wave is a fun way to say “Ahoy” to another Jeep enthusiast. And now, to celebrate 80 wonderful years of providing quality SUVs to our customers, Jeep has made the Jeep Wave anew into an official customer care loyalty program! The new Jeep Wave is available for all 2021 Jeep owners as well as owners of select 2020 model Jeeps, which means for our Prince Frederick area drivers that there are even more reasons to grab a Jeep from Prince Frederick Chrysler Jeep Dodge! White electric Jeep Wrangler.

What We Know About the Electric Jeep Wrangler

Jeep made headlines when the company announced its plan to release an electric version of its iconic Wrangler. The plug-in model will start production in 2020, and here's what we know about it so far. Powertrain Although the full details haven't been released, it is likely that the electric Wrangler will include a similar engine to what you can find in the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid. That minivan contains a specially-tuned 3.6-liter V-6 paired with a two-motor hybrid system that delivers power to the front wheels. Jeep representatives did mention the plan to release a plug-in version of the Wrangler at some point, which would likely have an engine mounted longitudinally to maintain the four-wheel drive. After all, it wouldn't be a Wrangler if you couldn't take it off-roading. This news raises another question: where will Jeep place the battery pack? With multiple important systems and components at work during off-roading sessions, the space available to mount an electric, rechargeable battery back could be limited. We don't know full details about the design or planned placement of these items, but Jeep should release additional information as the designers perfect the plan. Change Represents Major Evolution The Jeep Wrangler hasn't changed much over the years, so the idea that the SUV manufacturer will release an electric version made shockwaves in the automotive industry. The Wrangler has led the pack for years when it comes to off-roading capabilities for outdoor enthusiasts, even though it didn't have the high-end comfort or convenience features that many buyers wanted. Additionally, the previous models have been less fuel efficient than other SUVs on the market. With the addition of an electric Wrangler to the Jeep family, weekend warriors don't have to sacrifice efficiency when handling rough terrain. It is highly unlikely that Jeep will make drastic changes to the overall functionality of this model, especially considering that it's one of the only models in the segment that can truly handle any terrain. Instead, the company is moving forward with what buyers want: a more efficient and eco-friendly version of their favorite off-road vehicle. Jeep officials also mentioned one major benefit of an electric vehicle: instant torque, which will come in handy on this model. Additional Changes Coming Along with the announcement about the electric Wrangler, Jeep representatives released a few other exciting details at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November 2017. These announcements included the plan to release a diesel-powered Wrangler, which could return up to 30 mpg combined, as well as changes to the redesigned 2018 Wrangler. For 2018, the new model weighs about 200 pounds less than the outgoing Wrangler, helping to improve its efficiency, and it has an eight-speed automatic transmission. Other changes include improved aerodynamics and a few interior upgrades, making the Wrangler more comfortable. Although the electric Wrangler won't be available for several more years, rest assured that it's in the works. Jeep designers are working to make it a great option for outdoor enthusiasts who want a better off-roading vehicle. Why You'll Want the 2018 Jeep Wrangler

The Jeep Wrangler is one of the most well-known Jeep models on the market. Its off-road ability is well-known and the 2018 model will replace the current model after ten years. This article outlines the reasons you’ll want the 2018 Jeep Wrangler. Technology Upgrade Touchscreen are present in other cars in the Jeep line offering both information and convenience. Now it’s the Wrangler’s turn to receive the same benefits. The 2018 Jeep Wrangler has the same UConnect system present in the Chrysler line. It’s easy to use and responsive. The screen is about 8.4 inches. Smaller screens are in lower-end versions of the Wrangler. Parking assist features are also available in the Wrangler along with USB ports, and an SD card slot. The more connected Wrangler is an excellent feature for all the technology used on the go today. Power While the 2018 Wrangler is not out yet, there is evidence out there to suggest that the vehicle has a significant power upgrade in store. A 2.0L turbo engine codenamed Hurricane and a 3.6L Pentastar. The latter produces 285 hp which hasn't from the earlier model. However, the turbo engine produces 365 hp. If this assessment is correct, the engine is the most power-dense entry in the marketplace now. In terms of power, it comes close to the Porsche 911 engine and the current Mercedes-AMG GLA 45 and CLA 45 engines. The Eco-Diesel Engine While it technically would not make it into the 2018 model, an eco-diesel will come out in 2018 for the 2019 model year. This engine makes the Wrangler more efficient in terms of gas mileage. Other Features The 2018 Jeep Wrangler features automatic climate controls and a standard audio system. It also has a push-button engine start and a heated steering wheel. But the Wrangler is really known for its off-roading capabilities. As such, it is not surprising that mysterious rocker buttons are inside of the vehicle. Those who have seen the vehicle’s interior cannot definitively find what the buttons actually do. They may be capable of changing modes for off-roading. Combined with its design and soft cloth top, off-roaders are likely to appreciate the 2018 Jeep Wrangler for everything it does both on and off the road. Jeep has stayed mum about most of the details in the new Wrangler. Given that it represents the first major upgrade of the model in a decade, surprises are good. If it stays true to the type of upgrades promised by the first glances, the Wrangler will keep its place as the heart and soul of the Jeep line. From all indications, the 2018 Wrangler has a broader appeal, beyond those who love Jeep vehicles or off-roading. It’s designed to appeal to the customer who wants power, utility, convenience, and eventually fuel efficiency with a new type of engine.  The 2018 Jeep Wrangler will debut at the LA Auto Show in November. A Guide to the 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Are you curious about the latest Jeep Grand Cherokee? The 2017 model is a great fit for most SUV drivers, whether you use it for your commute or as a family mover. Read on to see everything this hefty Jeep has to offer. Features Even in the baseline Laredo model, the 2017 Grand Cherokee comes with 17-inch alloy wheels, heated side mirrors, automatic headlights, a rearview backup camera, push-button ignition, keyless entry, six audio speakers, and a 5-inch touchscreen infotainment system with an auxiliary audio jack and USB port. While this is an attractive package for those on a tighter budget, move up the trims and you'll get replacements and added features that make the Grand Cherokee an elite driving machine. Performance The Grand Cherokee can tow a maximum of 7,400 pounds when properly equipped, and the most efficient models reach up to 19 city miles per gallon and 26 highway mpg. On the base Laredo, the model gets a 3.6-liter V6 with 295 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque paired with an eight-speed automatic shifter. On any higher trim level, you have a choice between a 5.7-liter V8 or a 3.0-liter turbodiesel V6. Interior Dual-zone automatic climate control is standard, allowing the Grand Cherokee to cool or heat specific seat areas. The interior has so many high quality materials and surfaces that it's hard to remember that it's a rugged Jeep fit for off roading. Whether taking a leisurely drive around the block or climbing over a rocky mountain path, you and your passengers will be comfortable wherever you go. Safety Jeep's hefty SUV earned the best score of "Good" in IIHS crash and safety tests. Several new driver assistance parking features were added for 2017 as well. Rear parking sensors are standard on all models, while the top-tier Summit trim level adds front parking sensors as well. Put simply, the 2017 models are more adept for tight parking in urban areas. Exterior Even from the outside, the Grand Cherokee impresses. With the standard Laredo, the vehicle is surprisingly lithe and muscular. As you proceed up the many trim levels you'll see just how eye-catching the 20-inch wheels, automatic headlamp washers, and premium colors can be. To see how stylish the Grand Cherokee's exterior really gets, wait until you see our final point in the model's favor: the special editions. Special Editions Another great aspect of the Grand Cherokee is its special editions.
