4 Reasons to Love the 2018 Chrysler 300When it comes to luxury sedans, it’s no wonder Chrysler is top of the list. The brand has perfected their craft for many years, and the decision to bring out the latest 300 model leaves fans hungry for information. Tight-lipped and mysterious are two words to describe what Chrysler has in mind for the 2018 release and only with some information from Sergio Marchionne can we speculate what can be expected.

This Could Be the End of Rear Wheel Drive for the 300

Although there aren’t many changes anticipated for the 2018 Chrysler 300, the changes that are on the cards could mean a dramatic shift in what Chrysler fans are used to. Whether this is for the better or not remains to be seen, as one of the changes is apparently the shift away from rear wheel drive for the 300. This is tremendously good news for those who find the handling of the RWD vehicles dubious at best. This could mean an all-wheel-drive option, which is a good shift for any luxury sedan where handling is important.

There Are No Dramatic Changes Where Appearance Is Concerned

With only a few reviews available, there is no real evidence that Chrysler will do much to the interior or exterior appearance. This is good news for those who have come to love the robust grille and massive interior. Luxury has always been a key feature in any Chrysler model and this one is no different. With only a few small changes anticipated just to keep up to speed with current trends, the 2018 Chrysler 300 should be a dream.

It’s Powerful as Always

If the massive changes anticipated in the new 300 are performance related, Chrysler will need to work hard to top the current 292 horsepower V6 engine. Also, they will need to top the 300 horsepower V6 engine in the 300S. If they manage to do this, we may see the start of V8 engines for the 300-range, but that is purely just speculation. For now, the general consensus is that the performance will remain the same.

Lots of Trim Levels to Choose From

If there is one thing that Chrysler customers enjoy, it’s access to a number of trims in the different ranges. The 300 trims might have a few different offerings, but it is assumed that customers will have access to the Touring RWD, Touring AWD, 300S RWD, Limited RWD, 300S AWD, Limited AWD, and 300C RWD. These open up many options to lap up the luxury that is the Chrysler 300.

As the motoring world awaits the arrival of the 2018 Chrysler 300, it is with much anticipation and bated breath. The market seems to loathe dramatic changes as well as when things appear to look too similar. Only time will tell whether Chrysler fans will embrace the new model as they have the previous ones. One thing is certain, the 300 is always a high-quality vehicle that provides a comfortable and luxurious drive. If these things are in place, there is no reason not to be pleasantly surprised by the changes.
